Hi,

I have a W950i and yesterday I got a J120i as a second phone. It (J120) has a radio function. I was hoping to use it with the HPM-82 that comes with the W950. Unfortunately when I plug it I get unknown accessory message.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Ahh there is no solution as far as I know... Not all phones support all headsets you know. J120i is low end phone and hasn't much features to offer... Try plugging HPM60 or HPM62... HPM70 or HPM65 might work also.

Well .... the phone comes with something that looks like HPB-60 but doesn't have a button to accept/end an incoming call. It has only one earpiece and no 3.5mm jack.

I guess I'll have to buy something compatible with J120i that has 3.5mm jack.

Thanks anyway!

Can you hear the sound through them? I think the unknown accessory is for the playback controls

Well it may be only for the controls, but that can cause the sound not to be heard at all.

Well I would say it doesn't support HPM82 because of the Remote Controlls. But why the hell HPM70??? Surely the microphone on it isn't the reason for the incompatibility (if the pins on the connector aren't changed).
