Hi.

I have installed GDesk, and it looks promising. Anyone else using it? How did you get it to run above the standard main screen at all times? When I press the back button for a couple seconds, or exit an application, I end up back in the defaul screen of the phone, and not at GDesk. Also, how do i get it to start automatically at boot up?

Lastly, I installed HTC Diamond them for GDesk, but all I see is still the blue background. Nothing changed. I can run the default green them that came with gdesk without problems though.

P.S.: Can the P1i handle 8GB of M2 memory or not??

you have to use one of the latest gdesk versions (0.33b or higher) for it to work

+ you need to check the "replace main" option in the meny, so it wouldn't go back to the default main screen

awesome!! this is one neat application!!!

btw, the clock does not show right. the fonts are too big and are outside the boxes. how do I fix these? and how do I get rid of the text at the bottom that says "link to page 1, 2, 3, etc" ?

Thanks

Search for an application called autoexecutor or bootman pro thru which you can make gdesk bootup at runtime, er run at boot time

thanks! i just noticed one drawback to using gdesk. the keypad no longer works like it used to. if gdesk is running, i cannot: 1. dial any random number directly, 2. press 1 to access voicemail, 3. press 1 to 9 for quickdial.
