Is there a VKP Patch to change the directory for the acoustics from the FS (you know where, ifs/something something) to the PHONE MEMORY's Other directory?

I know about a site that mite have it but I can't remember the sites name.

Thanx for any suggestions.

P.S. Yes, yes I know that some of you are also members at SE NSE and this exact topic is also there but it takes a year to get a response there)

hi

you probably wanted to say R1BD001. download this file from 4shared: http://www.4shared.com/file/5[....]01_patches_collection.html?s=1

and inside there look for the patch "change_acoustic_folder_w800_r1bd001.vkp"

that patch should work

No, it doesn't work After I succesfuly installed the patch using far manager 1.70 and the sefp plugin I started the phone and went to other to see if it created the folder (Other/DRV/Ac) it should but it didn't so I created it myself and put ToShaRa 1.7 acoustics there but my phone's sound didn't work.

It may be that I should restart the phone after loading the patch and creating the directory with the accoustics in but I don't really have time now.

Anything else you can think of?

no no no. you shall create a folder in the Other folder(in the phone's memory, not the memory stick) called Drv and inside that another folder called ac.

hope it works

OK it works but I can't access this folder from my phone or with mobyexplorer and this is the reason for the patch.

X:\\other\\Drv\\ac

where X represents the phone's memory unit letter.

it doesn't work like that , it only works when I create the DRV folder directly in tpa/user/ but not in tpa/user/other

Search on www.se-nse.com for "move acoustics to other" patch... Then in other you create the needed folders (as specified in the patch - you can open it with notepad and see the location where the acoustics need to be copied to) and then put the acoutics in the specified location. So you won't need to use FAR manger or other programs to change acoutics any more. You will have the option to do that using some Java file manager application like MobyExplorer for example.

thanx very much! I got them working and its great! You have to restart the phone after pasting the acoustics in the ac folder for it to take effect.
