It hasn't been tested with s500 firmware, my s500 is running w580 firmware but it might work on s500 firmware. |

i guess it must work, one dispdriver works for d750/k750/w700/w800/w810.

what makes you think i own(or have, but not mine) a s500? 
i just asked this because someone with a s500 wanted to try this.

I thought you was asking because you have a s500 and wanted to try it, most people have flashed there s500's to w580's anyway. |

the display driver(dispdriver) is the responsible of the on-screen image, like the video driver on a pc. this driver enhances the current one.

So this means it will work with S500... If it works with S500 flashed to W580 - display are the same. No reason for the driver not to work...

This driver gives better contrast & clearer display yes it should work with s500.

I'd love to test this driver (as I have a w580), but before I do that, i'd like to have the original R8BE001 dispdriver as a backup, just in case this one doesn't live up to my expectations.
Would anyone mind uploading it? |

This driver is quite good!
I can notice a slight increase in image quality, and the battery on my w580 drains as fast as it used to with the old driver.
Definitely recommended! |

So there is no extra battery drain.
