Despite the keylock being active I can still turn off my phone by accident. i.e. if you press 'No' long enough the phone eventually switches off. I have R2K firmware. Has this problem been fixed in the latest firmware? If it has than that alone would be a good enough reason for me to get it upgraded. I have only had an r520m for 10 days. My R320 is now in retirement!

it's not a bug, it's a feature... the NO button act as a "Ctrl Alt Delete" for the phone, meaning if the phone freezes it should be possible to power it off by holding down the NO button... this function exist on all phones.

Really? Perhaps I hadn't waited long enough when I tried it on my R320 but I'm pretty certain that doesn't switch off. I'll also try it on my T10 when I get home.

Oh well, never mind. Give me another reason to persuade the service agent to give me a free upgrade!.

OK, neither my R320s or T10 switch off when holding down 'No' when the keylock is active. My R520m does and I wish it wouldn't! Does the R4A008 firmware still do this?

Do I upgrade my R520m or do I not??? I fear it might start acting up if I upgrade it. I't rock stable right now on R3A but is freaking slow!!! Quite a bit slower than R4A!!!

Olly232, It may be a feature in the newer models like R520 and T68. The R520 firmware R3B also does so. I am sure it is on R4 as well.

hmm.. if the powering down w/ keylock is a bug, that may explain the odd occurance of why my phone is off sometimes... i thought it was a battery problem, but it may be this now... i keep it in the ICE-10 case and it buttons could be pressed if squeezed in the pockets hehe..

I got a R520 this week and sofar I do like it. It has replaced my T68i as my daily phone due to increased RF. Here are a few questions I have:

1> Will the IAT-10 antenna make a big difference? The RF is much better in my house, but there are still places where I get "SOS Calls Only"

2> When I activate speaker phone, is there a way to keep it active? After I make a call or anything, the speakerphone deactivates. Is there a way to keep it on until I turn it off?

3> Wap browsing seems very slow compaired to my T68i. Sometimes while browsing the forums I can't choose any more links and have to restart the session.

4> My phone has the "snooze issue". I'm sending it in to SE for a firmware update, will this fix it? I have R2K now.

The "power down with keylock" is not a bug, it's a feature
No seriously, it's a hardware reset function, if all else fails holding down the no-key for more than 10 seconds will turn off the phone. It's like removing the battery.

What is the latest firmware. Mine is R4A008. My phone resets randomly while connected to internet over GPRS. Does anyone knows solution? Also I see download rate as 4.2KB/Sec. With same configuration, (same pc, same cable, same operator), I see 5.5-6 KB/Sec with my Mom's R600. Can anyone explain this?
