Note that i have chosen the photos wich both are not blurry for shaky hand.
Who is the winner?

Great photos there mate... The secret has darker images imo... It's great, but the C902 beats it on the picture with the cups (the third ones). It's better when taking pictures of an object with brightness behind.

No it doesn't! In most of the pictures, the Secret clearly has better colours and exposure. In the outdoor pictures, the exposure is too high on the C902 and the indoor picture with the girl has a bad tint to it. The first picture is good though, and the kids with the rainbow is better with the C902.
50/50 I guess.

Perfect, what did you do, took the worse C902 pictures you got and compared them with the best of your Secret pictures.
i have never ever seen such bleach outdoor pictures by C902.
(everyone who have tried c902, KNOWS its just awesome in sunshine, ...good color-balance, brightness-level, contrast, etc).
must be the first C902 in the history who produce such bleach sunshine pictures......
i took 2 auto pictures taken by Muhammad-Oli C902 (no idea to post my own pics in this mather), this is how C902 behaves in sunshine.
(just silly to see this over-bleached pictures when you know the difference)

You can keep your original message...i’m a joke man? Maybe, but this time i’m a serious man, very serious...SORRY mate.
First, i haven’t done the comparison, i haven’t taken these shots to have bleach pictures...is it clear?
2nd, with MY pic comparisons i always shot 3 photos for each phone and choose the best shot because there’s always a blurry pic for shaky hand...am i right?
3rd, if you are able to read and see, i have posted the not blurry pics, there will be some reason if God give us the sight...or not?
4th, you can question some real argument like the old firmware to defend your beloved baby...have you ever think it?
5th, these are the worst pics you have ever sene? The quality of YOUR pics doesn’t change...are these yours?

6th, a guy in the other thread (“Sony Ericsson C902 Cyber-shot discussion”) have tried both phone and have said atout the Secret: “The photos it took, the video and the flash were a LOT better” and after all kept the Secret...do you trust him?
7th, your last edited sentence is right, the rest doesn’t matTer...only one error?
8th, can you compare these above wonderful pics?... No?
9th, i have no more time now...

besides, here you have some more 100% crops by c902...enjoy
(they looks better then any Secret crops ive seen here on Esato)

No I think it's just silly to watch adults fight like little children over mobile phones on a forum. Grow up, or get a life, seriously!
Sorry, I have no time for keyboard heros.

my vote for C902. it was close to draw but to be fair, C902 have more potential. however both phones have strong and weak points. what is the most important thing - you can still call and sms with them - impressive isn't? quality of test is average:
1. auto mode used in most shots? ok, however in this case it's not good test for subjective perception of picture quality. pictures from SE phones looks better with non-auto white balance (in other phones too? ok, then why not to compare results with defined white balance to see max effect?)
2. different exposure levels due to different compositions. very important issue especially for scenes with wide range of luminosity (e.g. sky and ground). I know that identical compositions are not possible but they should be as close as possible if you want to compare anything (yes, colors and details will suffer too)
comparable? yes if somebody is almost blind

The Secret's camera is so much better that you are all just wasting precious time and bandwidth by discussing it. I will try to lay hands on an "ordinary" C902 tomorrow and RE-compare them side-by-side. Unless, for comparison's sake, someone wants to send me one of the two or three C902's in the entire world that take acceptable photos! |

I think only the C902 camera was vastly improved after the release of the R3BH002 firmware. In the C902 photo thread, the pictures in the first few pages were taken with the pre-R3BH002 firmwares (ie. the R3BA035 used in the review) and I do not think anyone would disagree that the new firmware definitely improved the C902 camera by quite a margin.
I do not own any of these phones (yet) but I think a comparison using C902's newer firmware will yield a more convincing result. So haki, please check the C902 firmware prior to doing the comparison if possible. |
