Hi, dropped my P990 today ( not the first time ever ) and now the 1 button and the select button on the flip don't work, there could be others. is it likely to be just a flip problem ( the phone works fine using the touch screen ) or could it be the phone?? i removed the flip, cleaned the contacts ,and the problem is still there??

if it is the flip? where can i get a replacement?? thanks for looking.

Probably the flip. Try ebay. I have never dropped my P910i yet the OK button on the flip sometimes has to be pressed harder to respond. I'm not the only one with this problem so I think the flips aren't as durable.

Try to remove it and place it there again, or clean it.. if this doesnt work, simply buy a new flip, its cheap though

Problem like this can be caused by bad contact between the keyboard and the keyboard pcb... Try opening the phone (if you can), clean the contacts and re-attach the kayboard to the mainboard... If you can't open the phone, try pressing the bad keys more powerful (but gently at the same time) not to damage the whole pcb...
