I don't know if this is happening all over the UK,
but the town where im working in alot of shops are closing down cos they cannot afford the rent.

Recentley about 5 shops have closed down and the next to go is Superdrug, bit of a shock really this whole recession thing is a killer

is the same where you live?

I work for Entwistle Green Estate Agents, but because we are a part of the Countrywide group, business is still good for us. But I have seen loads of local agents having to close down due to the recession in the market.

the town where im working in is Stourbridge,
first to go was McDonalds imagine how all the students feel now

but amongst all the shops ive noticed about 10 pub closures in my area and all the Estate agents are vanishing.

things are hard hit round here,
it's a expensive area so I guess that may also play a part in it

are Lloyds TSB the number 1 bank in the Uk?
they have 2 branches opposite one another where I work I haven't a clue why tbh

Stourbridge is turning into a Charity shop town,
I wonder how long before 02 goes DaeDalus told me there sales weren't very good a while back and ive been in there about 9.20am in the morning and there yawning and vacuuming the floor how un-professional is that?

The Students ain't healthy lol
colleagues at work commented on young people being very overweight and saying how well I looked after myself lol

with all the pubs closing is it because of the smoking ban?
or is it again the cannot afford to keep up the rent
