Integration of Lunar Calendar to standard Calendar |

Got this phone 2 weeks ago, and i'm loving the multi-features and the ability of customisation (GDesk FTW!!!)
i'm chinese and a buddhist, so it was a great help when my phone came with a Lunar Calendar application which will show the Lunar dates.
Query is, i want the lunar dates to be shown on the standard calendar (so that i can observe the first and 15th of lunar months), or even better, have a way for alarms or notes to work with the lunar calendar application.
anyone here heard of such applications? |

If you switch your CDA number to a Hong Kong or Singapore (or perhaps other Chinese version), you'll get these applications. At least, that's how I got the Lunar Calendar and Dictionary (quite useful) on my P990i. You'll also get Chinese input, which is very useful as well. |

u can set "repeat alarm" on your calendar. it'll take u about 10 mins to set it (in the normal calendar) |

However, Lunar dates do not coincide with the gregorian calendar used. E.g. 14 September was actually 15 of the Eighth Lunar month. if the lunar calendar would allow me to set alarms, i wouldn't have this query..... |

cannot set an all day event and make it repeat every 15 days?
in any case it is very quick and simple to select the dates and set all day events. |

can't exactly remember if the lunar calendar runs 30 days a month all the time (unlike our standard months), but i will go check.. |

well...i follow the thai calendar for sabbath days and they occur once a week in 7/8 day cycles depending on the position of the moon.
i spent about 10 minutes keying the dates in individually for the year in while referring to a desk calendar.
it's the best compromise i could get.
good luck. |

Sabath depends on the moon? So maybe you would need to synchronize your calendar with GPS or online
