Can any one give the pop3 settings for yahoo mail on AIRTEL using Airtel live settings .

Just configure using IMAP. Configure the following settings:
> Go to Menu>Messaging>Email>Settings
> Select "New Account" then enter the Account Name (Example: Yahoo! IMAP)
> Select the Data Account on the option labeled "Connect Using" (Example: Airtel GPRS)
> Email address: (Complete Email Address)
> Connection type: IMAP4
> Incoming server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
> Username: (Complete Email Address)
> Password: (Yahoo! Mail Password)
> Outgoing server: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
> Advanced settings:
>> Encryption: No Encryption
>> Outgoing username: (Complete Email Address)
>> Outgoing password: (Yahoo! Mail Password)
>> Incoming port: 143
>> Outgoing port: 25
Mine works on both sending and receiving. |

Ahhm, if you're gonna use those settings, charges apply as well depending on your network provider. It's like you're also browsing the Internet. By the way, what are you using? It works fine on my SE K800i but it charges me. Anyway, you're welcome!  |
