Hi there,
I have only recently been having problems with my W960i which often displays an error message when entering smilies into a SMS text message but otherwise, the error message does not appear when using any other program than Messaging and even when just typing text into a new message. One other point is that the phone is able to display "manually-written" smilies (i.e. typing in the  etc.).
It seems to coincide with surfing the internet using Opera although I haven't had problems with running this in the background along with several other programs before so I cannot understand why it is happening now. The entire error message which appears is as follows.
Application: KastorServer
Error Message: KERN_EXEC
Reason Number: 3
The mobile phone is with UK network O2 and I've only had it since March so hopefully if a replacement is required, then I should be able to be provided with a new one. However, if any resets or firmwire updates are required, please could you also advise how I should backup my text messages as I have a lot of messages which are of sentimental value.
