I think that is obvious...

one will have advantages over the other... and vice versa..

At the moment, I am considering X1, HTC Touch HD or BlackBerry Storm

HD wins with the screen, x1 with the design and keyboard. I`ll buy the cheapest of these two. And i hope is x1... hd is too big.

From the specs:
- Camera: 5 megapixel autofocus, CIF (352 × 288 pixels) video recording

SE is not the only one that has to catch up with Nokia, Samsung and LG. I bet the audio track is still 8-bit mono 8kHz.

Apart from the usual poor video recording (as with all HTC devices), this looks like something I wouldn't mind trading in my E90 for. Just need to figure out how this is going to happen without angering my better half (again).

Why they always insist on long, straight audio plugs? It's an accident waiting to happen. (You bump it and it breaks off the connector from the main board inside, which in turn means an expensive repair as it would not be covered by warranty.) Why couldn't they use short L-shaped ones instead? This would also make it easier to keep the phone in a belt case with the cable still connected.

Hi!

how will games be played on this, if the multi-directional 'D' pad is missing?

Will the programmmers utilise the lower part of the screen?

games work very well on the iPhone so there's no reason to think developers can't do something similar on the HD

Rumor: HTC Touch HD in UK has issues !

Orange UK carrier obtained exclusive rights for HTC Touch HD for British market, so that no other carrier can sell this phone (with subscription; it is available also without subscription in online stores), but it looks like a lot of people are returning this phone and generally employees of Orange UK are discouraging people from purchase of this "exclusive" phone:
