Hey again guys,

My K800 headset seems to have broken. Now I've had a look at the other accessories from SE and some are really cool. Just wana know how would I use the one's that connect using a 3.5 mm jack? Is there an extender cable of sort that connects to the phone and Then to the 3.5 mm jack? Also, if anybody is using any other cool accessories I'd love to know about because I'm looking to get some.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply man,

How does the HPM 70 perform? I've seen it and earmarked it so to speak. I'm currently using a 2 gig M2 card, just haven't got a reader on my pc but the phone cable does its job.

yup. hpm70 sounds much better than the ones that came with the k800. you can even use your own set of earbuds with it.

There are adaptors for connecting 3.5 mm plugs to the fastport from 3rd party vendors, and you can find them on e-bay for example. A drawback with using a standard earphone with 3.5 mm plug is that you cannot use it for phone calls, sine it lacks the microphone. The cable part of a HPM-70 earphone also functions as such an adaptor, and the HPM-70 cable contains the microphone in the same housing as the 3.5 mm jack and the answering button resides in, so that can be used as an adaptor for other earplugs, though, but if the earphones in HPM-70 are very good too.
I use a HPM-70 myself with my K800i, and I'm very satisfied with its sound. I'm on my second set of HPM-70, though, since the cable broke somewhere close to or inside the fastport connector housing on my first pair.
