I had the P900 (which imo was leading edge at the time) and now the P1 - which is disappointing to say the least in that there is no Magic Profiles and it's essentially an upgrade, nothing 'new'.
The one thing I *love* is the stylus and handwriting recognition. I am looking to change phones and SE don't have anywhere to go.. So what phones use a stylus AND have handwriting recognition - not the lame on screen keyboards

You could either get an HTC or the SE G900.
Don't know if any other phone manufacturers make TS phones with styluses.

You know I *do* also like the word completion of the P1, not sure if that would be available on another phone...! |

or play the waiting game and go for a Xperia
however would a W960i be any use to you?

Well the Xperia seems like overkill - I don't want a keyboard.. and the W960 is the same thing as the P1 with different buttons
I think the HTC Diamond might be the best, it looks like you can get calligrapher or penreader for it and that would do the trick. The SE stuff atm seems to be a generation behind....

lol they do seem behind,
however they do have some nice phones out this year so
im not slagging them off
if you change your mind again with the PDA
you should look at Nokia's N95-2
it's a good phone very reliable

Nokia touch, but I advise you try it before you buy (when it comes out) to make sure it has good handwriting recognition. Touch is a fingertouch interface, it may not have a stylus and may not have handwriting recognition.
Other than that any Windows Mobile phone with a touchscreen (not just HTC) has handwriting recognition.
