According to Mattias Holm at SE:
- The phone will be available within few weeks (Q4)
- An american version will be available in Q1 2009.
- The phone price is comparable with W910, which was launched last autumn.

is the number pad like w880i? these thin lines or not? i can hardly see it on the pics....
Is there also a dockingstation? The Fastport is more on the top so I think there is no dockingstation for this type.....at the moment - hopefully.

Being able to upload and view YouTube vids on this phone is a great feature. Uploading vids on the move is excellent, especially coupled with an good data account.

No, the keypad is wavy. Those are just for separation.

The plastics used seem extremely cheap looking, and I'm not a fan of the rounded back and square front.

Whoa, calm down. No need to start a flame war over something so little.
People's opinions on what makes something great will vary, and I can somewhat agree with Marty Mcfly, especially when considering the looks of the thing. Personally, I don't like the look of the G705. I think it is a weird mix of straight edges and random circles and the plastics look really cheap.

I've always found that phones feel and look very different in the flesh. The C902 for instance, looked long and flimsy but turned out to be very solidly built.

Exactly. It's just another SE copy and paste phone, with Wi-Fi. Not a revolution really.
