There I updated the front page. It should be easier to read and load, and I will update that periodically. There's also a quick FAQ section to it too.... hopefully that answers most questions. |

SH8010C to be on sale in China for 3500RMB or $500 USD. Here are a few images of the phone booth in a mall (obviously I didn't take these). The phone will be on sale in a "few" days
Edit: since Images weren't working, here's the link: http://bbs.blueshow.net/read.php?tid=511153

Odd... I see it on my computer but not on my laptop.. weird... Anyway there's the link!
Update to front page:
923SH hypersim is sort of stupid right now... it can't automatically identify your SIM card which requires you to send your SIM card to the seller/distributor... this will change in the future though as hypersims improve.
For those of you who don't know what a hypersim is... it's basically an "external" SIM card that "tricks" the phone you have the CORRECT company SIM Card... so for instance, let's say T-Mobile phones are locked. If you cut your SIM Card & place it in the hypersim, it will "trick" your phone thinking it's a T-Mobile SIM Card. =) This is what you have to do with Japanese phones since there's no such thing as Software unlock (not with the newer phones at least). Softbank got smarter and removed the media features of the phone if it's not a genuine valid Softbank USIM... sigh... |

I like the Pantone colour covers for the SH8010C. That's so cool. Does it mean users can make custom colour covers? (I can't read Japanese)

No those aren't colour covers... just different colour variations for the 825SH (not the SH8010C, the SH8010C is based on the 825SH). Sharp Mobile China took a few of the colours found on the 825SH and toned them down slightly so they look less bright.
The 825SH comes in so many variations... kind of scary:

Whats the extra layer on top flip part of some of the phones?
Is it a slider to protect camera

No the camera is on the other side.
The extra "layer" is so that the screen can change orientations, from portrait to landscape. See picture (from the previous 920SH):

Great to see that the 923SH unlock is becoming more popular. Thanks Mav3rick! =) And welcome!
