I like to use TomTom Nav 6 in my cars & bike - are there any bluetooth GPS units that can be permanently 'plumbed in' - it's a bit of a pain having the unit loose and either seting up charging in the car or remembering to charge it before every trip LOL

What do you use for mounting the P1i in car - have a couple of very cheap air-vent mounts from Tesco - again not ideal but way ahead of having the phone loose...

Just come across the postcodes download for navigator 6 on the TomTom site - now I can use full UK postcodes

Cheers guys...

Look for a car holder if you want to "mount" your P1 into the car...

I have a GPSlim 236 by Holux. This has a proper on/off switch. I leave it turned on and plugged into my 12V socket. When the battery dies on the gPS it turns off and automatically turns back on when the 12 socket becomes live.
