I guess most (or at elast some ) of you guys already know what I'm talking about.
Here's some heads-up for the others:
- E3 08 trailer
- official website
It's basically a simulation of life and evolution (on a very basic scale). I've been waiting for this game for 3-4 years now. The game's already been released in Europe (today), but we're getting it on 10th September (due to a delay the production of th manuals - how stupid is that?).
I've already downloaded the creature creator demo and I've made about 35 creatures. There are currently approx. 4 150 000 creaures up on the servers. Quite impressive for 2 months.

So, lemme hear your thoughts on this.

It looks really cool from what I've seen but there are so many games coming in the next few months that I want, so I might skip this one. Especially seeing its not announced yet for PS3 (is it?), and I'm not too interested in playing games on my Mac.

There's another similar game coming on the PS3 called Little Big Planet, Both the games' main catch is user generated content.....

atm the thing to see is that which game will come tip the other as both games have been overly hyped in the past 1 year...
here, have a puff

LTB will be great.
We all looking forward to it.
It will be released at the end of next month.
It is PS3 exclusive, so it will be great.
LTB will bring home parties back.

We were talking about Spore, weren't we. Sorry for that but LTB will be great

LTB and spore are two completely different game types!!!!

Spore is a god game where u create your creature then evolve it over time and take over the universe...

LTB is a game about reaching the end of a level by using the world around you... its biggest draw is building the world...

Cant see the likeness in my eyes apart from creating things!

But yeh LTB will be great but spore is good too )

IMO, the really cool thing about this game is that it lets you create your own creatures, design your own buildings, vehicles and even the UFO you get in space stage. They are surprisingly simple to use, yet very versatile.
And then all of what you create gets sent into other people's games automatically via the spore servers (or not, if you don't want to...)

You even get a report about what people have been doing to your creatures (befriending them, making them extinct, domesticating them etc.)!
It's quite cool!

PS. I forgot, you can also edit planets in the space stage. You can terraform them, raise/lower temperatures, pump in atmosphere, raise water levels etc. You can even blow them up.
