unable to copy phone contacts to 3g SIM card |

I seem to be getting an "overflow" error under an information tab whenever i try to copy all my phone contacts into my SIM card.
I'm totally sure my SIM card is empty, and i tried copying 115 contacts from phone..it reaches till 90+ when i get that error, and i can't copy after that.
I have tried copying in smaller amounts, but i can never get through 30 contacts.
Is this a known bug ?

Maybe that because you have more than one number in your contact.
if you have 2 number (i.e for mobile,work,etc)in each contact in your phone memory,that makes total of 230 numbers.
now,how many numbers that can stored in your SIM?
