My text message that I send and receive keep showing the wrong time 3hrs back.anyway to fix ?.i'm using w960i

no there isnt. SE decided to play a practical joke with us when they implemented this BS. sometimes i receive SMS dated the next day!! And they remain on top for an entire day when i keep on receiving SMS

yes it is a common problem (bug) from SE on all UIQ3 phones...

in fact... your phone recieves the date and time from the mobile operator and not from the phone's clock and calendar....

if you want to test it... try different SIM card from a different operator and you will see what i'm talking about......

so i think the problem is 50% SE and 50% your mobile phone operator.

I have this issue with my p1 too. Doesn't bother me at all. I just know that sms are received 1 hour earlier than shown.

Somewhat OffT I know, but I've always found that having automatic daylight saving updates enabled in UIQ's clock settings (control panel - device - date & time - more - set updates) causes problems when syncing to my pc.

The solution being to have 'Update system time' set to 'never', and 'set daylight saving time automaticaly' unchecked. Then sync the clock to the pc that has daylight saving enabled.
