Hi guys!this is my first post.i cant understand why data usage in ghana is so expensive, check the gprs rate of mtn and you wonder why it is so.you cant understand how it is charged, just visit some few pages on your phone and you will be suprised at the amount you will be deducted.i am waiting for vodaphone to come and crush data rates in ghana. In tanzania vodacom, there is a bundle package whereby subscribers can just buy packages and browse with phone for a month or more depending on the amount of data you purchase.it is very affordable with a equivalent of 2 cedis one can browse within 10mb in a month. phone companies here can emulate,i think Tigo should start as they have done with texting.Mtn 3g ?I wonder how many people can afford.thanks to the originator of this ghanaian forum

well we cannot blame them if there is less competiton available lets just hope vodafone in partinership with onetouch can send the value of customers higher if not our only hope is that the new networks zen and glo will offer services which will cut off the number of people using the old networks.
Currently i have most people just waiting for a new network to join so mtn tigo onetouch need to be very careful/
