My computer doesnt recognize my phone. |

Hi.... my computer no longer recognizes my w810i the first time i attach it... then after, i restart (reboot) my pc.... and then it immediately recognizes my phone... what could be the reason?? what should i do?? |

Actually, it sometimes happen in my PC, too. Guess it's a trouble from the PC itself, not the phone.

could be the pc what os do you use and do you use a usb hub?

i use XP Service Pack 2..... i never had that problem before just recently i started facing that.... about a couple of months back.... really dont know what to do.... i dont use any USB hub... i have the USB ports in my computer's cpu.... |

@shreyans: have you tried checking your hard disk with an antivirus? might be a virus. you can try to clean your usb connectors also

by cleaning, do you mean actually cleaning the USB connectors? they work perfect, since the minute i restart my PC, the computer immediately recognizes my phone.... as for viruses, I have an antivirus software that keeps updating itself every second day, and my computer gets scanned everyday.... |

try to install the drivers again.

i have already done that... twice... updating drivers, uninstalling and re-installing PC Suite from Cd, updating my PC Suite...  |

then the problem is with your computer. your OS has something going on that doenst let it connects your phone normally.

i figured that out.... but it doesnt happen when i try to connect my phone via bluetooth adaptor.... there is absolutely no problem for making / recognising any connections.... both the computer and phone immediately recognize each other and get connected instantly.....

is there any one who has been facing this problem, and has found a way of troubleshooting this issue??/ |

What OS are you using. There are some connection problems if you are using XP SP3...

well my phone works fine and ive got xp sp3, detects the phone every time

I don't know about you, but SP3 seems to be making problem to some people... Even me, with bluetooth PAN.

i m using XP with service pack 2.... this wasnt happening before.... just started like a couple of months back.... really dont understand whats gone wrong...
