Z750i/Z750a Unlocking from 3, Firmware? Dont have a clue! |

I chose lots of phones after that topic, But know i am gonna erase it all and going to pick Z750i/Z750a (Z750i to me because i live in the UK) I have a new shining W980i BEAUTIFUL BRILLIANT PHONE! but the problem is... IT WAS TOOKEN AWAY FROM ME! and guess who took it away from me, O2! they said my address did not exist! But thats stupid I write it down in clear writing my address so why did they say it did not exist! and that was the problem when i would not be able to get it again because O2 was the only network that I like that sell the W980i. But any way thats not the point, So i am jest going to get a hassle-free PAYG Z750i. But (yes theres a "but") i want it on Tesco Mobile, But its only on 3!  So what im thinking is unlocking the phone then putting on Original SE Firmware on it (to take all that 3 stuff away) and putting a tesco sim in it! But here is the BIG problem
1. HSDPA may not work (then i cant use the net )
2. Video Call may not work (When i unlocked my K800i the video call stopped working)
3.Google maps (jest have a felling it wont work)
Will HSDPA, video call and google maps work when i unlock it? Please tell me some one! I NEED HSDPA I CANT LIVE WITH OUT HSDPA, I dont need video call so im not worring about that!  lol. Google maps (Its i cool feature I WANT IT!  )
SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me if HSDPA, Video Call and Google maps will work if i unlock from 3 to tesco and change to original SE firmware from 3 firmware

Hi,
I can't tell you the answer if it still works after using the firmware patch unlocking. As this changes some stuff in your firmware. It SHOULD not make any difference but firmware patching is not so reliable.
If you use unlock codes I can tell you 100% it will still work (as long as you are using operator which offers HSPDA).
Just do a search of Sony Ericsson unlock by codes. Or contact me private I know a good website but Im not sure if I can post such links here.

Z750i is a DB3150 platform it cannot be patched nor patched unlocked.

@totalgsm, can't your service unlock 3150 phones??? Not by patch too??? What about wotan?

I haven't go the phone yet, i am going to get it at September 24, Because my other sister has a Skypephone on 3 pay monthly and she is getting upgrade from 3 and she said she is changing to pay as you go and i can take her upgrade and she can put a pay as you go SIM in her Skypephone and I'm going to unlock it.
Oh.. and can someone tell me what networks support HSDPA thanks.

Ah ok. Did not check that when giving my answer. Well then he should use unlock by code anyway
