UK K800 O2 RE-brand |
memiself Joined: Aug 27, 2008 Posts: 5 PM |
I upgraded from R1KG001 to R8BF003 using XS++ and K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn
K800_R8BF003_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52.fbn
Don't like certain things.. e.g. no automatic keylock
However, I want to go back.. don't mind O2 stuff.
..What do I need.. are there specific O2 .fbn and .mbn files?
I've found
[K800i_CDA102511_41_R14A_O2_United_Kingdom] on topsony

If you are not able to find O2 flashes , just update the phone using SEUS.
Caution :- It will upgrade your phone to CID 53

O2 use generic firmware, there are no O2 specific firmware files.
Question: got same files as memiself. Can i use original custom files? (CDA102511/100 R8A EUROPE 2 O2 UK)
Thanks in advance

Yes was originally O2.
O2 might use generic firmware (MAIN), but what about FS?.. Want bits 'n' bobs!
Also.. how might get automatic keylock back?
as is now CID53, got FAR. |

Yes FS also. U cant go back to CID52. Dont think there is R1KJ001 CID53 anyway. |

Ho hum... maybe I'll go forward.. I see lots of posts about upping to K810.. but I can't tell what that would give me..
Any ideas?

You need to change the CDA to whichever O2 use. Failing that. Use Davinci to put the O2 software back on your phone. I've just done a K800 and flashed it with the latest CID53 software and the automatic keylock is still in the settings menu under locks. |

Try changing phone's CDA... Or look on www.4shared.com for branded firmwares... O2 firmware is a bit difficult to find... Vodafone, orange are easier to find...
