Microsoft has patented a technology it calls 'Method and system for navigating paginated content in page-based increments'. Now, that sure does sound like the next big thing after the invention of the wheel. However, what it actually turns out to be is the ubiquitous little Page Up/ Page Down keys on your keyboard. Yes, you got me correct.
So the Big M has one more patent under its belt. This has to be Microsoft's best attempt till date with second and third prizes going for technological marvels like 'A method, comprising: selecting pixels to be used as an emoticon' and 'Web feeds' which are Microsoft terms for guess what? Smileys and RSS feeds. Sigh.
