I recently installed Mini Commander v3.4 and I am having problems copying or extracting files. I see only (c:/) or (e:/) in the default window and I have zipped files stored on the memory card which I take to be (e:/)

I would like to unzip the files to the memory card (e:/) but I get the message that there is not enough space on the stick to allow me do what I am trying to do. This is wrong because the memory card is 4Gb and is almost empty. I am able to unzip the files to the phone memory (c:/) but this can only take a few files before it fills up. I have even put the zipped files on (c:/) and tried to unzip them from there onto the empty 4gb memory card (e:/) but get the same message.

Can someone please advise me as to how to do what I have said?
Many thanks

Try using Mobilerar or JZIpman for such operations... Mini Commander isn't that good for working with archives imo.

The problem is solvable. Follow these steps:
- Launch MiniCommander
- Acces the menu, go to "Options", then "Settings"
- Scroll down until you find "Free space checking" and disable (uncheck) it.
- Select "OK" when you're done.

That's it, enjoy.

Follow up on my previous reply, to explain why "Free space checking" causes the trouble: for a reason that I do not know, MiniCommander fails to correctly read the 4 GB memory card capacity and reports negative values for total and free space (check by pressing key "2" for a second, then release). That's why it won't let you do anything on the memory card: unzipping, copying or moving files are practically prohibited, because the program thinks there's no free space left to perform these operations.

Hi there,
It's my first time to post.
If it would help you , i had the same problem as i bought the 4g. the only way to to use the mini co ,is to full up your m2 card till you get less than 1150 mb free memory. You can try to copy all the files once or twice until you get the 1150 free memory.
I'm sure it would work.
Enjoy it
