Hi everyone...
Just thought I would get a little mini review of the Laserpod I have bought today up on the site...
WHAT IS A LASERPOD?
Imagine being in space and all the stars being bright red and blue gaseous clouds being all around you! Well thats what the laserpod tries to recreate via the clever use of Red LED laser, Blue LED laser and Orange LED laser diodes, a swarovsky crystal engineered in a unique way and a set of diffuser lens and domes.
The unit itself is about the size of a large tin of beans and can run off either the mains (plug supplied) or off 3 AA batteries. The Galaxy version (has an orange LED which the original doesnt have) costs around £60 (play.com do it a little cheaper with FREE P&P!).
When i recieved the box i thought it looked like something Apple has boxed as its very clean cut box with minimal decoration to the box!
Once started up in a nice dark room i was instantly a fan and after a few mins started to feel like i wasnt awake but in some sort of dream state!!!
Then i tried it with the small domed diffuser which means you can have the pod on a desk and the diffuser will create a light show but not on the celing, kinda like a lava lamp without the lava!
I could only use it for a min as am in work at the mo but once i get this home i will grab some proper pics and show them on here!!!
Anyone else got one of these? share your experiences and any mods u have done etc...
