Hey guys i was happy to discover that bbc iplayer content now works for my n95. It sends a streaming link to your phone which then works with real player. I have one gripe though and its the same for things like the youtube viewer etc
You have to manually specifiy the access point for real player and you cannot select it on the fly as you would with your browser etc.....
any one got a fix for this or do we just have to live with it ??!!
I have wifi at home and wifi at work it would be nice to be able to use the real player with out having to change the access point manually everytime!

I heard that there was going to be a bbc iplayer app for the N95. Whats the quality like with this and is it full screen?

just go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer/index.html
just make sure that you have configured your real player to use your usual data point (i.e. wifi/3g etc)
its not too bad i wish it used the full screen though!

There's an app called Psiloc Connect which appears as an access point when installed and automatically uses any wifi access point if available. Otherwise it switches to 3G. It can even hop from 3G to wifi automatically if you leave wifi scanning running on your phone. |

Got iplayer working on my N95, but the quality isn't the best. Interestingly it loads up the file in 3gp.

Tried it last night on my N95 via wifi. Worked well. Sound and picture quality were good.

Psiloc Connect 1.10 seems to work for me to ensure that the real player access point is the same as my browser access point !
