Bluetooth Issue with PC Suite for P1i and Widcomm BT Stack on Asus eeepc 901 |

Hi
Just got me an Asus EeePC 901. It has integrated Bluetooth and uses the Widcomm Stack. Pairing with the P1i is no problem, I'm able to access files & folders on the P1i through the BT Stack. After installing the PC Suite v1.5.8 (most recent) I'm also able to sync the phone via Bluetooth. The Widcomm Software even recognizes the m-Router application. But when I try to create a Internet Connection the Mobile Network Wizard it doesn't see the phone. It's not possible to create an internet connection.
By using the data cable, the phone is recognized and I'm able to use it as internet modem with the Mobile Network Wizard.
On another laptop the same procedure worked seamless, but it was with the Microsoft BT Stack which unfortunately doesn't work with the BT Module on the Asus Eee 901.
I can't connect to the phone with My Phone Explorer, it looks like the serial interfaces created by the stack do not work very well.
Anyone ran into this or a similar problem and has any idea to make internet connection via Bluetooth possible?

if your eepc has the linux based OS there are not so many options for you, on the other hand if you are running windows xp on it , you can do anything you like. looks like you can consider formatting the drive and installing XP but you can do that ONLY if you have the 8gb drive eepc,if you have the 4gb drive then there won't be enough space on your drive to install xp (the XP OS needs at least 7 gb space to install on the eepc)

Thx mate. It is a Windows XP Home version which came factory installed.
I tried it with the factory installed OS and I've tried it with Windows XP Pro, which I've installed myself from scratch. On both OS I have the same problem, PC Suite will not create a Bluetooth connection for internet access to my P1i.
For me it looks like the Widcomm Stack and the Mobile Network Wizard do not work together.

Ok, I was able to help myself and I figured out you do not need the PC Suite... it uses too much valuable disk space anyway.
Just create a new dial-up connection to *99***1#, set the speed of the bluetooth modem to 921600 baud and everything is fine.
