HTC touch is more ugly.. thats for sure.

so of course i should go for Xperia.

edit. who cares who have manufact Xperia. its still a phone, and more important the design is made in Lund (Sweden), not by HTC....
i love the design, looks elegant & clean.

@Plank
I agree.

Its like people buy new cars all the time, unaware that they share engines etc between different manufacturers.

The X1 is an SE phone allright. Im sure it shares an awful lot of components with HTC phones, but, If SE didnt pick HTC, which other WinMo phone manufacturer would do a better Job?

I am finding it very difficult to choose between X1 and Touch pro. The differences are negligable.

Dont really mind either way, but i do think the X1 is the better looking package.

much better looking. however touch pro does have tv out.

(though so does C905, so anyone looking for an SE "N95" style all-in-one should check out C905)

Is it theoretically possible that the TV-out could be implemented through the mini-USB jack?

i doubt it, though it may be possible to stream video out over mini-usb or simply play the video while accessing via wifi. For example if you had a wifi to av receiver plugged into your television.

But actual tv-out would not be possible imho.
