Bluetooth connect auto profile switching (k810) |

Due to some problems I had to reset my cell phone completely.
I could restore a backup but some settings have to be changed manually afterwards.
One of them is the setup of bluetooth devices.
Before the reset my bluetooth conenctions went like this
Enable bluetooth
Turn on bluetooth handsfree or bluetooth carkit and connection is made and the phone switches its profile to Car.
But this doesn't work anymore, when bluetooth devices are connected the profile isn't switched to the car profile.
Now I have only have Bluetooth 2.0 devices (HCB-150 carkit and HBH-IV835 headset), before the reset I used a HCB-120 before switiching to the HCB-150 and the HCB-120 was a bluetooth 1 device.
I know how to enable the autoswitch on a K750 as I had one before but this does not seem to work on a K810. The k750 also had the problem of not switching back to the previous selected orofile once you turned the bluetooth device off.
Can anybody tell me how to have the autswitchin gprofile on my K810 again? |

I have mine set as follows and it works just as you require, under profiles select car profile select more to edit profile and under accessories add car handsfree, portable h-free and accessory 11 0. I believe that the accessory 11 0 is the important one. Return the profile to normal and ensure that no accessories are associated with it, return to car switch on the ignition and it should be recognised. |

Well I know the accessorie 11 0, that's the one I could see in my K750i but I do not see in the K810.
If I go to accessories I can only see the connected accessories and I cannot add any new one, therefore i have to go to handsfree - Bluetooth - My handsfree - new handsfree.
And over there I cannot see an accessorie 11 0.
So no this does not work for me in this way. |

You were right, I have not carefully read your mail.
And indeed going through the selection
Settings - Profiles - select in car - press More - View and Edit - Accessories - New accessory
shows the accessories you can attach to that and only that profile.
Thanks anyway, next time I will use my spectacles, a magnifier and everything else I need to make sure I have read the complete text.
