Hello , Just Joined! I hope someone can advise me bearing in mind Im not techno wizkid ie newbie to mobiles os etc Anyway Ive just bought a new sony c902 on 02 network , like the phone but I am really angry with o2 as They have as on similar phones ive had , removed google maps and also geo tagging on my c902 , why do this? I have looked around and read about flashing the phone etc , is there any way to put back what o2 has removed? I bought the phone as it said these features were on it only to find upon charging they are not! I can send my phone back under trading standards which apparently told be the sale of goods act has been breached along with a few others ,is there alternatives that i can install or how can i put google maps back on the phone and will it then work on o2 or not thanks! | |

You can reinstall google maps on your phone manually, however I know this will not work with a GPS reciever so it might not work with aGPS or geotagging. You could try it and see, try wap.google.com on your phone. Davinciteam.co.uk who will debrand your phone for a fee however this voids the two year warranty i believe so i wouldnt recommend it. | |
