Trying to save myself a trip to the local shop where they unlock for £5.

I have a new W350i.
I need to unlock.
Currently on Vodafone.

I've searched and searched: and can't find any software or free services.

Can some tell me where to look?

I have found 2 scam website though that send you 'tips' on how to unlock.
(The tips are things like: go to a shop where they unlock, or get some software to unlock etc - really useful if you happen to be a marshan and have never lived on Earth.)
(I paid and then forced a refund.)

Thanks.

Online Unlocking would not match that 5 pound. Cheapest would be to get it done there.

Cruiser Suite is for professionals and not for end users.
To use Cruiser Suite software you need their dongle which costs about 120 euro and then you will have to buy logs.
Online depends on who you are using to unlock.

oh... i assume di could just use the cable that came with the phone
or am i just being dumb?
(i knew it seemed to be too easy!)

online: can u recommend anywhere?

i've come across one or 2 websites that promise an unlcok code
but, in their small print, they say that if they can't unlock, they'll give u a document that tells u where to go to unlock.
thats a bit crappy and cheating and stealing as far as i'm converned

You can use the cable that came with the phone to unlock. The 2 websites that you are talking about are offering unlocking at 2-5 Pound? Then for sure its a scam . They will take money and send you a PDF document which says how to get he unlock code[this will not work ].
