Has anyone experienced total loss of signal, i.e. the 3G icon disappearing suddenly, and there are no signal bars left? The phone has been in use, listening to music via Bluetooth. The network setting is set to 3G only. This means calls didn't come through as the Media screen does not show any signals.

Also recently experienced that song fails to play through the Itech bluetooth headset (but through speaker), following one that did. Then fast forward to the next song, music comes back on bluetooth. This seems totally random.

Media Manager continues to play up; hangs all the time and not robust at all. You can click on a song and it updates forever. Now I use the old Disc2Phone software which works much better.

All these after updating to the latest software!

Maybe the 3G signal isn't strong enough in your area ?
You can change the settings to dual mode or even GSM only.

I was in places where I usually get signals. I had GSM + 3G option before but the reception of that was even more patchy.

I was using a W960i just a couple of months before and the signal strength was much better and had no such problems before, even though I was doing the same thing in the same places.

Switched from the W960i to G900 because the OS was too slow, didn't like the ergonomic of the jogdial. G900 is faster (improved with latest software flash) but now it has introduced other issues such as the signal problem.

I remember when K750 first came out it had signal problems but later firmware updates sorted it. Perhaps thats the problem or it simply could be that if your 3G signal is not strong and its not on dual mode the signal will suddenly vanish.

If it is software problem you have, you can try master reseting the phone. Or updating it's firmware through SEUS. Firmware problems can be solved like that, if so your problem will be solved too.
