Hi if you have received a messege from someone who is not in your contact list, how do you save their number from reading this messege into you contacts list?

What you need to do is.

Go to your address book and create a new contact type there first and seccond name in, Then go and to the option where you want to save the number e.g home, mobile, work and click on the button below the YES button. and choose unsaved numbers.

I think that makes sence...

That don't work, the number from the SMS is not on that list, it is once you've called it, but not just from a received SMS!

well, what I do when I get a message from a number not in my contact list is I make a call, stop it before it gets connected (therefore placing the number in the unsaved numbers list).

after which, i would add a new contact, after putting in the names, etc, i fetch the number from the list of unsaved numbers.

done.

Try this, this worked for me...
After reading your messages tap option then select save number. Message will appear 'Save in contact' something like that.
Then go to ur contact add new, then select home no. for example then select from unsave nos. you will see the number from there. I'm sure of this...I hope this will help u
