All the sudden my screen went dim and won't go bright. I messed w/ the settings to try to get it to work again to no avail. I even took my battery out and put it back in, still dim. How do I get it to go bright again? I have never dropped my phone, either. |

Did you try going into the display settings and make sure the light was turned to automatic? |

That would be the most obvious answer. And yes, I tried that. I put it on On, Off, and Auto, and none of those worked. I even took off my screen saver, background, and used the standard theme because I thought it might be a memory problem. I only have about 10-15 contacts and 3 photos. |

yeah you tried going to settings, display, contrast (not sure if they are the exact names) and you should be able to make it brighter or darker (i prefer darker as the logos appear better, not sure of which
+ or - but one before end to the left) hope this helped if not sorry

I tried that too. I tried all of the obvious answers. Like I said, without me messing with the settings in the first place, it just happened out of nowhere. |

I have the same problem intermitently, all of a sudden my screen just dims for no chuffing reasons!. Its as if your in a room lighted by two standard lights, then some annoying chimp replaces them with one bedside lamp. Anyway this problem is now happening daily, the lights turn back to full brightness after a while, or if I turn the phone on and off. I really think I have a jinx with phones as I am always faced with bizarre-oh problems, for example last week whilst on wap my t68i automatically changed....
