I'm trying to zoom in this picture while in the phone but I can't.
I've tried putting it in Pictures folders, camera folder, other folder.
Then change it to gif, then increase its size beyond 3MP
Nothing worked.
Can you try on your phones to zoom in.
Any suggestions. I need it desperately for tomorrow.

Well, to zoom in a photo, just view it in landscape mode and use the volume buttons to zoom.

For pictures larger than 3MP, follow the instruction as said by nightblade, a zoom icon MAY NOT appear on top right corner.
Now you follow the next trick:
In landscape mode goto 'more' > 'rotate'
Now you can see the zoom icon on top right corner. Use 1 for zoom in and 3 for zoom out.
Have a fun. |

Well yeah, I think similar issues with the W800 when opening large pictures...

Unfortunately rotate is greyed out, so I can't use it. Any other suggestions. |

i stumbled on this thread since i had a similar problem trying to upload a map on my k810i .jpeg format and not being able to zoom in on it.
the image size i uploaded was 963*1247 450kb, and yes the zoom function worked with a little bit of thinking outside the box...sorta
here's what i did:
1. i looked around for images on the net and uploaded it to my k810i via bluetooth dongle to see if the landscape with zoom function was available for the image
2. if it did work (landscape/zoom function) i saved the image and opened it up with photoshop.
3. now that you have the image (one saved from the net 'image_A') opened in photoshop, open the other desired image ('image_B') you want to have zooming capability with.
4. now that you have two images open, check the image (canvas size) dimensions for 'image_B' width:height. Now go to 'image_A' and resize it by inputting the width:height from 'image_B'
5. now both image (canvas) sizes should be the same. just copy the image from 'image_B' and paste it to 'image_A'
6. click on 'image_A' and click file>save as>jpeg>(filename)
7. upload the file to your k810i and it should have the landscape/zoom capability for your desired image
i'm sure there's other ways of doing this but this is what worked for me. hope this helps other people out there
