better screen (touch screens have NEVER the same quality as ordinary Cybershoot screens. its just fact)

Once you've used a touchscreen daily, you'll never go back to a normal "dumb" phone..

And it's bollox what you say about touchscreens being worse then what you call cybershot screens (wtf is a cybershot screen?).. they'r both TFT screens. The End.

About the camera (again). I think the C902 camera is better because of the software, so G900's camera might improve towards C902 after some succesful modding.
C902 ofcourse has a more camera-dedicated interface, but G900's is pretty decent too with the touch screen (great colours and clarity and a lot LARGER).
I don't care much about a phone cam anymore (it's OK as it is, a snapshot cam, just as my K800). So for me G900 beats C902 in every aspect except maybe the speed of the userinterface. And with SoundModLite it's a great Walkman too!

hi,

i'm also thinking of getig new phone.. c902 or g900... not sure...
correct me if i'm wrong. doesn't c902 have GPS? and the flash, is it LED or ksenon? on the pictures looks LED and on SE site sais Ksenon...
and. is it worth getting c902 over k850? (i have a buyer for k850)
i'm also not sure abouth symbian. i don't like the slyders on the side, and the fact that you can't fully use it withouth stylus.

i would apreciate a little advice from you guys.

thnx.

Hi, the C902 does not have GPS. It has an LED photo flash (which is a slightly more powerful LED flash). The SE site doesn't say Xenon flash anywhere for the C902 that I can see...

I think it is worth getting the C902 over the K850i ONLY IF YOU WON'T MISS THE XENON FLASH. It is about the only thing that the K850i has that's better than the C902. The C902 is considerably thinner than the K850i and arguably better looking.

It depends whatever you want from your phone. I had the p800, p900 and the p990, sure when browsing the web and typing, the touchscreen is the winner, to use as just a phone, get something else. I bought the c902 now, tried the g900 also but I found the c902 buildquality way better, g900 feels more plastic and cheap, both have a tft-screen, but c902 deliver better colours and more contrast, what I can see anyway. I also think the c902 design is great. So if you want just a phone, and dont really need the extra features of UIQ, the c902 is a better choice.

It does geo-tag images, but it does it without GPS. It uses network cell towers to gather info on your location.

I don't know why it says disable GPS on one of those screens, but I assume you got that screen-shot from the SE "try the phone" software which isn't all that accurate to what the product is like. I have a C902 so I can guarantee you it does not have GPS. Under settings on mine, it only has 'Units'.

thnx.
i asumed, that it usess gsm antenas for location.
but if it's like the google maps app. than it's total crap. mine google app always shows that my location is somewhere in indonesia od in middle east.. it's hardly ever right about my loction... so i'm a bit sceptical about it
but, i'll probably get the g900 cause, just today, at work, some customer returned it because he wasn't satisfied with its color, so i'll be able to buy that one realy cheap
(i hope) and i'll use k850 for pary pictures and work phone.

what i understand, GEO tag works in the same way like the Police do it, when they search for missing people by their cell phones.
its called triangelisera....(the signal is between 3 towers who measure where you are).

the technique found you(the picture) quite exact, a radie of ~100 meters, (sometimes closer, sometimes longer, depends where you are regarding to the towers)

ps.. go for C902 if you like photos & awesome mediaplayer.....otherwise g900 is cool.

i seldom compare two newer phones by its features. i compare the design between them. (build quality, the look, etc)

K850 is a really nice phone, but c902 is even more nice (and have better color-reproduction).

before you buy some phone, at least feel a real c902, its really solid. (but g900 seems quite solid to ).
c902 backpart is made in rost-free iron for example and it lays really good in your hand, etc.
