Hi, Alarm clock in my P990i is automatically switching on 17 times during the day. sometimes I can shut it down with on press, sometimes I have to do it by pressing even 7 times. All alarm clocks are deactivated, but it rings anyway. Does anybody had such a problem? I start disliking this device. Does the only way to repair it is to make a reset of telephone. Will be grateful for any advise. Marcin

Just a thought, and forgive me if you've checked this already, but do you have any tasks with recurring alarms set?

If not, then I believe the only way to solve your problem is to either format the internal drive or reflash. I don't think that a master reset will cure it as it sounds like the core os has become corrupt. If I were you I'd reflash the phone with SEUS.

But do check the tasks first.

Thank you for your answer! Of course all topics, warnings, alarm times etc are off. I've checked it just after it started working wrong.

I should suggest you to do a master reset on your phone and see if the problem gets solved with that... If not you can give a go on updating through SEUS... You won't lose anything, you can only get the latest firmware for your phone (if you haven't done that before).

P.S. Before doing anything of the mentioned above, backup all your data such as: messages, contacts and settings... Master reseting or updating the phone will cause loss of all data present in the phone memory.
