So hey guys, im basically new to the forum and got a new p1i 2 days ago. I love the phone but it has a couple problems that i need help fixing. First of all, I cannot delete my sms without opening them first and deleting while viewing. It says the sms are save on the sim card when theyre really not. I try to elete one, and an information box appears with a "bad request" thing. I mark all and try to delete and the same thing. Ive seen this topic before but dont want to search for it so ill post another. Second, when i recieve a picture message, the picture in the message is always small. I sent my freind a 600x800 picture, he recieved it as 600x800 on his k800, sent it back and it came back as a really small picture. Its getting sort of irritating. ANY help would be greatful. Thanks, Alex.

i had the same problem as you for the sms. what i did was i master-reinstalled it with the memory card TAKEN OUT. After that i formatted my internal disk in format options and put my memory card back in, which solved the problem.

To get to format options, press: * jogup * jogdown jogdown * jogdown *

Jogup/down = one click up/down on the jogdial

hope this helps =D

In message settings on my k610 i can choose to scale the pictures for mms
menu>messaging>settings>picture message>picture scaling
then I get:
Off
640x480
320x240
160x120

don't know if its for outgoing or incoming though
