hi
my k800i has got the white screen of death
its about a year old and is cid53
when I tried to update with seus it goes to 98% then the phone disconects from the puter
since at this time the screen has been black for a few mins I dont know if the phone has switched itself off
help please as when I contacted sony ericsson they want all the purchase details and I for one don't tend to keep my recipts for a year lol
wish I did now though
any help would be much appreciated

I would recommend you to reflash your phone firmware... As you said it is CID53 you can try flashing your phone using this CID53 tutorial:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=170737
(instead of the K810 software in the tut use the one you want...)
and you can find plenty of firmware at www.4shared.com... Just use the search option on that site,

using farmanager with jd flasher plugin I get to the oflash
then i get
error
set directory(setdir(setmode(doscript(qh1dr(gethello(IOusb:getblock(time exceed)))))))
any idea what I'm doing wrong please |

XS++ will work for you only if your phone is not CID53.
