Anyone know how to do this? I've got a torx 6 screwdriver but can't get the cover off - don't seem to be any guides on google either.

There should be places where pieces of plastic from the font and back housing are holding to the middle part or otherwise... Try searching youtube for example for K770 dissasembly guide... Or google for it...
