W960i Walkman playback gaps |

Hi
On my W960i when I play music in the walkman, instead of continuing straight onto the next track, there is always a second gap. My friend also has the same when he listens to he's walkman.
Does anyone know how to get around this or whether this might be in a future firmware update? I've never updated the firmware from its original state.
Also, is there a way of getting different visualisations in the Walkman rather than just the SE that come with the phone?
Thanks

You can try using SEUS to update your phone... And see then if your issues get solved... Anyway about the walkman skinning... Some guys at www.se-nse.com were talking about it... I think it is possible to skin it by replacing the .mbm pictures (graphic icons) in it's filesystem, but adding new visualizations is still not possible imo...

I found this too. By disabling the visualization it reduced the time between tracks but there was still a slight gap. The phone doesnt preload the next track for continuous play unfortunately... well not that I could ever find anyways!

Have you updated the firmware, or are you still on the original.
Think that seeing as though the phone is dedicated to be a walkman phone that they could have added continuous play.

It should be normal, everytime it finishes a track it needs memory to buffer the next track, so the second delay is the loading time. |

Well yeah that should be good explanation of the time between loading 2 tracks... None of the phones loads the tracks instantly... It always takes some time to buffer the audio.
