Not being funny but personally I know the difference in gaming and real life and can honestly say that after about 3months or so of playing this game alot, I have no desire whatsover to imitate anything from this GAME.

Sometimes I think it'd be fun if I could just take someone's car... but I'd never do it... LOL

Same here, I saw an old man driving a bus, and thought, I know, I'll cut his head off and steal the bus.
GTA made me think that!
*sigh*

fantastic sentence from the article...
"This time-bomb has already exploded and the situation could get worse," Ladda Thangsupachai, director of the ministry's Cultural Surveillance Centre, told Reuters. "Today it is a cab driver, but tomorrow it could be a video game shop owner."
hmmm... guess they dont care much for taxi drivers but hold video store owners in high esteem! |

cant blame the game on this, if somebody is this susceptable to virtual violence and this easliy influenced by a game, which is what in essence it is.
then it was a matter of time before he recreated such a fantasy
if GTA is banned then all games which have any violent events that could be recreated in the real world should also be ripped off our shelves
which aint gunna happen.
GTA seems to haev become abit of a scapegoat for these types of situations.
