Urgently need to know - Maximum memory card capacity for w200i |

Need to know in a hurry,
does anyone know what the maximum memory card capacity is for the w200i?
Ive been on other sites, and some have said 8GB works some say 2GB is the max and others say 1GB is the max?!
I would ideally like 8GB but i dont want to spend nearly what the phone is worth just on memory to find the phone can;t handle it.
Any ideas or experience from using large memory cards on the W200i would be very much appreciated.
Thanks again.

i used a 4gb M2 in my w300i which is basically the same as the w200i just that it's a clamshell. |

Hi,
S-E site says -
Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) support (up to 2 GB)
for both,

Sony Ericsson site is not correct always...
It supports the 2gb for sure... If it supports 4GB, it should work fine with 8GB ones too... As they have the same filesystem...

Come on guys... W200 uses a M2 Memory Card which means it's expandable upto 32GB's...
What the SE's Site states is the maximum official SE M2 cards are available and it will keep increasing as they release higher capacity memory cards...
Hope it's clear... |

as hgautam stated,
w200i can supppport whatever card is available...but yeah, the phone(especially while using media player) will get slower than before.
