So I've had my K800 since released (2/3 years?) and I've more or less just become bored of it. The design isn't too bad, but nothing exciting imo - yet the fuctionality and camera is brilliant, a great upgrade from my old K750. But once again I'm in search of a new phone.

I've considered both the K850 and C902. I understand that the K850 though has always had bugs and stability issues, is this true with a new one even now? I like the large screen and camera design, but the phone is large and not very sleek in comparison. The C902 looks great, despite a smaller screen and imo odd (flimsy?) camera pull-out design, but the lack of a flash seems somewhat a nuisance - something I loved about my K800. How do the cameras and processing speed compare also?

Noticing the C905 as well, I love this phone but I am looking for a new phone now rather than later and also I'm assuming this will be one expensive phone. I've always had candybar phones and so a slider would be nice.

Considering Walkman phones as well (at the downgrade of a camera). The W910 and W980 has come to mind, any others worth noting? Lack of auto focus is annoying but something I may be willing to give up.

Thanks for any help, I'm really just looking for any thoughts and opinions on the phones stated as well as any other recommendations. I've always much liked Sony Ericsson phones, and even so this is the SE general forum I would be also interested in any other brands and models you might want to recommend. For example, anyone have any experience with the Samsung U900?

its many people here with k850 who have good workings phones (UI, etc). so you can take it easy.

but i think its more hard to find a new k850. dont make them anymore (since several months back), so you better hurry.

otherwise lay some dollar more and get C902. (little better optimized camera as you know)

about C905, i think it have quite boring design. (defenitley not one of most beatfiul creations....thats my oppinion)

Well the k850i is still readily available in the UK. I was considering both the C902 and the k850i when i was buying a new phone there. I opted for the c902 and don't regret it, although ill have to get used to the keypad. As for the pull out section it seems to be sturdy enough so i think it will be able to take some abuse.

Yeah was going to say that here in the UK, K850's are still being sold new in shops and the supply doesn't seem to be decreasing. The "flimsyness" of the C902 pull-out part was probably just due to the one I held being a display phone.

So the C902 has the better camera, how does it cope without a flash? Is the LED light any good? Since I personally know that the jump from the K750's LEd to the K800's Xenon flash was impressive.

The K850 does have a bigger screen right? The C902's seems to be smaller due to the added (touch?) symbol lights.

I wouldnt worrie about the k850i bugs the c902 dosent seem to be having any better stand it terms of stability atm. I recommend the k850i now that se has provided a free fix for brod. Once u get a k850i you'll see how sleek it is(at least the black n green one is). The c902 to me dosent seem to be a huge benefit i wouldn't sacrifice flash over better cam driver. When XS++ is released for the a200 line you'll see your k850i produce better pics then the c902 how it stands now. Flash is what makes se's cybershot phones standout apart from the rest of se phones that have incorporated a camera. The c902's slim style is a plus but the screen seems to contradict its attractiveness with the buttons on the boarder making it smaller. Its like a big head women with small facial features crammed into the middle.
