for N73? isn't a Nokia? Nokia??
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing.

ok just a quick question about this:
nokia .sis files are not compatible with SE UIQ but viceverssa ,UIQ .sis apps are compatible with S60 OS?

Nope. It's possible to compile an s60 build and a UIQ build, put them in the same package, and then deploy the right version based on the sis packaging script switches.

But there were few apps with entirely parallell development tracks, I think, and even fewer that didn't or don't require some sort of substantial rewrite before it fits on the other platform. So while Gdesk and.. ScummVm.. and Picodrive(?), the Lonelycatgames apps (maybe) are programs not entirely dependent on platform specific code, they would be compiled and coded separately to some extent for each version - so I guess very few people found it convenient (or natural) to create a combined sis- file.

There's probably some politics involved, too. But mostly I think that you really have to be extremely keen to try and think in terms of common building blocks on s60 and UIQ - because of naming conventions and api names and so on. So it sort of becomes separate, and then it's another extra effort to splice the deployment packages again afterwards.

But it's possible at least
