P1 Sync problem |

I have been syncing my P1 with Outlook 2003 (via USB) for a year or more without any problems but this afternoon it has stopped working. The error message on the phone says:
Application closed
Application
!SyncMLSyncAgent
Reason Code
E32USER-CBase
Reason number
21
The Synchronisation Summary on the PC says the sync failed and adds:
Errors: 1 General
Error due to: No connection to the mobile phone
Whilst the sync appears to be progressing, everything seems normal with the items being updated showing up on the details sync screen but it all suddenly stops with the above messages. Nothing is updated on the phone.
Can somebody out there please help. I'm going away for a whole month from Friday and this is the last thing I need to happen!! |

Thanks for that AD but I've sorted it out now, thank goodness! By syncing calendar, notes, contacts, etc. separately, I found that the contacts sync was causing the problem so I deleted all the items which PC Suite was trying to copy between the PC and phone and this did the trick. I must have had a corrupt file for one of the contacts or perhaps had changed the contact in both the PC and the phone. In any case, I can now go on holiday happy.......... : ) |
