Hey,

Some of you know that I have been looking for work for ages now, since Jan in fact and even the job centre is getting fed up of me, and I'm getting fed up doing nothing.

I'm looking at doing a full time course, I was looking at things that would help with an IT career and help me get in to the police force.
One my advisor told me to look at was this one:

Uniformed Services Start Up - Level 1
This is designed for students who did not get results for Level 2 Sport and Leisure and Uniformed Services. You will study:

* Outdoor development
* Certificate in fitness
* Certificate in personal skills development
* Certificate in employment skills

No qualifications are required just a desire to join a Uniformed Service or a career in Sport and Leisure.

I've spent the last 3-4 years doing ICT courses, I'm now thinking about taking up that one and doing it as a full time course?
Just wondering if anyone else has done it?

For me this would be a huge change, however when applying for the police force or fire brigade again it will help my chances.
Also it looks damn good fun.

What do others think of it?

Good fun, good skills and worth doing?

Or do you think it's a load of crap and a waste of time?

Let me know what you think as I'm planning to go down and apply tomorrow.
