Go to GSM Arena and look them up yourself. Not to be rude but if someone is capable enough to post, he/she is also capable enough to google.

are many places in the net you can compare phones.
don't think it's that hard to do for yourself
try gsmhelpdesk.nl, gsmarena.com mobilenews.com etc. etc. etc. |

Definitely not trying to be rude but if you really can't do that by yourself perhaps you should consider going for a simpler device...
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

Odd question really since the X1 is not available yet, obviously you have to delete this from the list. The other two are not comparable either; they suit different users. Check out both models in-store and let us know what you get.

Maybe you should consider adding Samsung i900 to your list too. A very nice phone according to the specifications.

Yee thats my problem because i dunno whether on i should wait for the X1 to come out or just go for either HTC diamond or iPhone? That was the plot of my question in the first place sorry for the misleading question.

I have a Diamond and iPhone, the size and weight benefit the Diamond!
They essentially the same phones, different operating systems but do the same thing, apart from the extra 4Gb memory in the iPhone, Ill go for the Diamond.
iPhone definatley gets more attention but the Diamond is getting popular here in SA, lots of ads everywhere...

I really depends on what you want from your phone. I took the liberty of adding the Omnia to the list.
Omnia:
1. Music(similar to the iPhone)
2. Video Playback(640*480 @ 30fps and DI@30fps H.264 hardware
accelerated). Video recording at 640*480@15fps
3. Camera(the best WM cam out there)
4. Memory + Micro SD storage
5. Some softwares have issues due to the wierd screen res
6. large screen with haptic feedback
7. Good battery life
8. Fantastic GPS reciever, best in its class the Sirf III
9 TV Out
10. Amazing processor clocked at 624Mhz, presumably the best processor on
WM at the moment, 2D hardware acceleration present
Diamond:
1. Size
2. Screen
3. Touch Flo
4. Build Quality
5. Music Quality, quite ok, better than present gen SE phones not equal to the
Omnia
6. Video playback is average does play VGA @ 30fps but depends on the kbps
and the codec used
7. Bad batterylife although extended batteries are available
8. Good enough GPS, using Qualcomms GPS One
9. Crappy cam
10. Good processor with 3D hardware acceleration(not as good as the iPhone or
N95)
11. Only 4GB Memory
X1:
1. Screen
2. Keypad
3. Build Quality
3. Metal build
4. Music similar to Diamond, same DSP
5. Video playback similar to diamond, the international version has better
playback with recording, records at VGA@30fps, diamond does'nt
6. Battery looks good enough
7. Same GPS as diamond
8. I presume cam is identical to the Diamond but I maybe wrong, but
whatever said and done it wont match the Omnia
9. Amazing panels
10. Some softwares will have issues due to the wierd screen resolution
11. Same processor as Diamond but the i version is slightly superior
iPhone:
1. Awesome UI
2. Awesome processor with 3D hardware acceleration
3. No Document editing, cut and paste or file transfer via bluetooth
4. Crappy cam with no video recording
5. Good music playback
6. Fantastic video playback
7. No memory card slow 8GB and 16GB
8. Some people complain of the iPhone 3G body cracking
9. Awesome 3.5in screen with multi touch
10. TV out with specific cable
